My name is Emily Kramer, and I am a third year Economics and Political Science double major. I joined WiB in the fall of my first year and have since found the organization to be an incredible source of support, guidance, knowledge and inspiration. I have gained a tremendous amount from my involvement in WiB and hope to contribute to the development of the organization through my position as President. Outside of WiB, I am a member of the Financial Markets Program, the Dougan Scholars Certificate Program, and Kappa Alpha Theta. In my free time, I love to write analytical and creative pieces, play the piano, and—when circumstances permit—ski. My name is Danielle Tarigha, and I am a second-year student at the University of Chicago. Within Women in Business, I am the Vice President of External Affairs and co-head of the Technology and Entrepreneurship group. I am an active member of the Trott Business Program as well as the John W. Rogers Careers in Finance Program to develop my interests in the business industry. I am the Director of External Relations for Midway Ventures, a member of the Hacker Experience Team for Uncommon Hacks, and an active participant within the Undergraduate Investment Banking Group. Outside of school, I am an intern at World Business Chicago with their ChicagoNEXT team. My name is Maxime Kpangbai and I am a second-year economics major. I served as the Conference chair last year, and I am currently the Vice President of Marketing. I joined WiB in the fall as a first year and I have been exposed to various business industries in the field and a lot of amazingly successful women. WiB provided me with resources that I did not have access to and a multitude of internship opportunities. On campus, I am involved in TechTeam as part of the Institute of Politics and I am a designer for MODA. My name is Rachel, and I am a third year Economics major. I am this year's VP Finance, but previously held the position as last year's Fundraising Chair. I joined WiB fall of my first year, and have been so happy to be a part of the strong community of accomplished women this organization has created. Last summer, I interned at a FX hedging startup in Sydney, Australia. While I loved the energy of a startup and my team, I realized that I wanted to work in a team environment on a larger scale, and decided to recruit for finance. This summer, I will be interning in NY at Citi in their Capital Market Origination division. On campus, I am part of Trott and Theta, and have also been on the women's Varsity Tennis team. My name is Nehir Mentes, and I am a second year in college majoring in Economics and minoring in Italian Language and Literature. I am part of the Trott Business Program and also a Dougan scholar taking management and marketing classes from the Booth School of Business. Joining WiB in my first year, I was part of both the consulting and marketing groups and have always enjoyed being a part of this organization. One of my passions is playing the violin, and I have been a part of the University of Chicago Chamber Orchestra for two years. I am involved in research on behavioral economics and work in College Admissions. As a woman preparing to be in business, I am a part of the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity on campus and love hanging out with my friends there. Having been doing martial arts since childhood, I am very passionate about doing kickboxing in downtown Chicago and love working out in my free time. My name is Karina Petrunova, and I a second-year student double-majoring in Economics and Russian and East European Studies. Within Women in Business, I am the IT Director and part of the consulting group. On campus, I am also an active member of Alpha Kappa Psi, the business fraternity, and the Trott Business Program. Previously, I participated in the Wanxiang Ambassador Fellows Program through which I spent 6 weeks in China learning about green energy policy. Outside of school, I am also a business writer for an online application called "Passport to Wall Street" and starting spring quarter 2018, I will work as a financial analyst for FanFood, a Chicago-based startup. My name is Jenny Shao, and I am the Conference Chair and a first-year Economics major and Visual Arts minor. I joined WiB during my first quarter at UChicago, seeking (and finding) mentorship, guidance, and exposure to a variety of industries. I am a student analyst for Chicago venture capital firm M25, where I will also be working this summer. On campus, I am involved in Prism Consulting, Alpha Omicron Pi, and am a cellist for the University Symphony Orchestra. In my downtime, I can be found playing and arranging music or doodling. My name is Anika Limaye and I am a third year Economics major from Mumbai, India. I joined WiB in winter quarter of my freshman year and have been involved in both the Consulting Group and the Finance Group to explore my career interests. Later, I helped mentor younger members and organise training sessions and networking events as an Associate. Outside of WiB, I am a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. Previously, I worked in corporate finance at Deloitte, strategy consulting at Accenture and Monitor, and also in research at an India-focused hedgefund. I am looking forward to gaining experience in investment banking with Citi this summer. My name is Amelia Pedone and I am a third year Economics major and History minor. The Finance group in WiB has helped me focus on a specific path within business, and the upperclassmen in WiB have offered invaluable mentorship and support. Last summer, I interned in sales and trading at Barclays. I will be joining the investment banking firm M. Klein & Company as a summer analyst this year. My name is Daniela Campillo. I am an econ and math major and I am currently the co-head of the finance group. For fun, I love to go out dancing ( especially latin music ) and I also love to learn languages. I previously interned at the Central Bank of Colombia, Sura Asset Management and I will be doing trading this coming summer. My name is Katherine, and I am a second year Economics major. I joined WiB in the Spring of my first year and I am currently the Finance Group Head. I have met so many inspiring women through WiB, and my involvement in the club has reinforced my interest in business. This summer I will be interning at J.P. Morgan in New York in the Sales and Trading division. Outside of my involvement of WiB, I am on the Model UN traveling team, an Executive Chair for ChoMUN, and a member of Alpha Omicron Pi. My name is Tekla Kitsmarishvili. I'm a third year at the University of Chicago majoring in Philosophy and minoring in Statistics. I'm in finance and consulting and hopes to pursue a career at the intersection of the two fields. This past summer I interned at Landmark Ventures, a VC firm in New York City, where she I a Business Development and Strategy Analyst. Previously, I served as a Pro Bono Consultant for the UChicago Office of Civic Engagement and a Marketing Intern for SOCIAL Enjoyments, a local Food & Beverage start-up. On campus, I am an Executive Board Member of Smart Woman Securities, the Director of Alumnae Relations of Delta Gamma Fraternity, and a Board Member of the International Student Advisory Committee. I hail from Tbilisi, Georgia and loves mountain skiing in the Caucasus. In my spare time, I also enjoy practicing pilates, drinking tea, and reading fashion blogs.

My name is Angela Calabria and I am so excited to be joining WiB Leadership as Co-Head of the Consulting Group! A second-year Political Science major and Statistics minor, I have been a member of WiB since fall quarter of my first-year. Last year, I worked at a fashion-technology startup and will be furthering my career interests as a management intern at McMaster-Carr this summer. Outside of my interest in business, I am a committee chair for MUNUC, assistant at Booth’s Stigler Center, and administrative coordinator for a student-composed opera. My hobbies include avid theater-going, cooking, and horseback riding.

My name is Nitya Somani, and I am a second-year Economics major, serving as the Consulting Head for Women in Business. Apart from WiB, I am also a Junior Project Leader in UChicago Tech Team, Outreach Deputy for the European Horizons Midwest Regional Conference, Publicity Director for UChicago Global Intelligence Group and a member of ILC's Entrepreneurship division. I am looking to pursue a career in corporate finance, specifically capital markets. My other interests include hiking and theatre.

My name is Laden Aksam, I am a second year Economics and Psychology major. I am a member of WIB since fall quarter of my first year. Joining WIB has probably been one of the most influential and helpful experiences I had in UChicago. Getting to know different fields of business, hearing relatable real-life experiences from my peers, conducting various business projects and networking with successful women in business were all defining experiences for me to shape my future career plans. As the head of the marketing group I lead weekly meetings covering topics including marketing strategies, breakdown of the major marketing/advertising agencies, job/internship applications. As the WIB Marketing Group, we also manage several marketing projects for both on-campus and outside institutions. Last summer, I had the privilege to participate in Italia Innovation Program in which I worked with marketing and PR departments of leading Italian fashion, food and art companies such as Illy Café, Ermenegildo Zegna and Italia Independent. I specifically worked for the leading Italian contemporary art museum Palazzo Grassi and Punta Della Dogana’s challenge with my team. After such an intensive month, we implemented “Art Confessionale Booth” campaign as part of the museum’s new marketing strategy in order to enhance the experience of their visitors. My non-academic interests include going on long walks by the lake, cooking and traveling!

I am privileged enough to have interned with a number of start-ups in the past, and am excited to share my knowledge and passion for the industry with the rest of the group. Outside of WiB, I am involved in the UChicago Careers in Business program, MODA, Pareto Consulting (where I serve as the recruitment manager) and Alpha Omicron Pi.
